Play 90 second soundbite of 'One Minute Silence' @ 'CD quality'
Great driving music this one, turn it up and rattle the doors and windows; Zero State pile on the db's as incessant guitar chords thrash unerringly alongside the oh so solid pumpin' bass and metronomic drums. With such a strong and forceful melee ensuing it's a wonder that Zero State don't lose the vocals in the mix; it does get close to the limit occasionally but on the whole the voices just about make it through the electric onslaught.
Zero State err just on the commercial (pop) side of the heavy rock fence which will be an helpful 'assist' in their endeavours to challenge the established pop-rockers. Their overall sound is pretty rampant but commercially viable and 'One Minute Silence' shows potential and could prove to be a track to kick-start these guys as they take on the 'names' within their field. 'One Minute Silence' by Zero State is certainly good enough to make a few waves but possibly not strong enough to result in a raging tsunami!
