We The Faceless

We The Faceless EP

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Firefly' @ 'CD quality'

If you thought grunge was dead and buried you'd better think again. We The Faceless (great name!!) bring new life to the genre and this excellent EP, in just six rumbustious tracks, tells you all you need to know about this South London based three-piece.

We The Faceless have all the regulatory and necessary genre associated attributes - the brooding songs of realism, love and hate, indulgence and addiction, the pumping, pulsating rhythms, the raw and edgy guitar sorcery and the gritty, drawn-out whiskey soaked vocalisation. But, We The Faceless throw in just a hint of manic metal and some good old fashioned rockin' for good measure. The end result is a brash and bountiful sound that hints at retro-grunge but is more 'now' grinding-grunge-rock. And, We The Faceless certainly know how to compose anthemic sounding 'chunes', take a listen to the stunning 'Yellow House' and you'll get the drift. But, We The Faceless can take it down and dirty or lift it with soaring crescendo's and breathtaking choruses and all the while maintaining a chunky and grimy grunge biased undertow. For just three guys We The Faceless make a bloody big 'noise' - this aint music for relaxing to, this is blow away the cobwebs kinda music, music to get bi-polar with!!

We The Faceless have put together a fantastic six track introduction to their grunge-laden world here; 'We The Faceless EP' is wildly raucous yet stunningly melodic - a real mind-fuck of dirty sounds and gritty voices. Definitely a great intro to a bloody great sounding band - grunge is quite clearly alive and well and its future looks to be safe in the hands of We The Faceless - a very tasty work this - a cracker!!
