'Annihilating Rhythms' from Ultrasonic 'does exactly what it says on the label'. There's simply not much more to say because these guys have put together thirteen tracks of hard core dance anthems that'll blow minds that other illicit substances can only just eke into. Ultrasonic are not content to stick with just the one dance genre - they've taken all such contenders and blatantly put them into the melting pot on 'Annihilating Rhythms'.

Throbbing vibes that drill their way into your brain no matter what your personal preferences are. Often terrifyingly heavy electronic samples and themes bolster the array of frontline vibes. There's sounds to relax and chill to - awesomely speedy works that'll numb every part of you whether on the 'floor' or driving home. Scintillating rhythms pound from the speakers, great vocal works slip almost unnoticed into the fray - such is the infectious quality on display here.

It's always puzzled poor old me how this genre of music contains so many things that you feel you've heard before but you know straight away that they're new, fresh and exciting. This electronic dance medium never ceases to amaze me with it's bright, raw energy and Ultrasonic certainly seem totally committed and locked in to this, their chosen weapon of mass hysteria.

Without doubt, 'Annihilating Rhythms', presses all the right buttons, tickles all the sensitive bits and goes along way towards complete brain meltdown. Like it or loathe it, Ultrasonic's way is here to stay for some time yet. If these boys keep laying down vibes like this they'll be getting plenty of work on the dance circuits. 'Annihilating Rhythms' is possibly one of the best works of total raved-out freaky dance that I've come across for a long time - a genuine blast of an outing that'll cause many heads to turn both with respect and pure wonderment.
