Play 90 second soundbite of 'Everybody's Just A Little Bit...' @ 'CD quality'
Turning Green sound like, well, Turning Green actually! They've decided, wisely, not to follow trends - they've gone out on a limb - and, they've contrived to come up with a fantastic sound that'll go down well in several genre camps. However, 'Everybody's Just A Little Bit...' (unedited version) is not exactly radio friendly; it'll needs a few bleeps and things if it's to get any air-play in its original form. But, what a work it is!! I can see this becoming a real party favourite - one for everyone to join in with and get a few things off their chests at the same time. Difficult to describe in words, 'Everybody's Just A Little Bit...' by Turning Green is splendid stuff - the stuff that sets new (if a little crazy) standards - the stuff that excites - the stuff of legend - I love it!!
My copy comes complete with the 'radio edit' of the main track (Ugh??), which slips in the word 'censored', several times, where needed - it kinda spoils the whole effect but at least the radio 'jocks' will be able to give it a blast now and again. Also included is another wonderfully diverse but equally absorbing offering in the form of 'Bleeding Anthem'. What a little beauty this single is - I'd really like to see this do well but it's gonna be difficult coz of the 'unacceptable' lyrical content. But, I know that there's ways around such little problems and if Turning Green's promo people get their act together, Turning Green could just be the next big thing on the scene. What a great thought that is - a new band with a new take on modern music - an outfit to blow away the cobwebs of banal normality - a band for the future!! Turning Green deserve success purely because of their temerity to fly in the face of convention and coz they deign to come up with such diverse, awe inspiring stuff. 'Everybody's Just A Little Bit...' by the excellent Turning Green is different and different's good, different works, different's bloody great!!!!!!
