Play 90 second soundbite of 'I Represent (radio edit)' @ 'CD quality'
already having built up quite a reputation oversees, Toochi are now unleashing R&B-popster 'I Represent' onto the unsuspecting British public and show, in no uncertain terms, that they are real R&B contenders.
The Radio edit mix is made wonderfully mellow by the use of sparsely injected, slightly dark feeling, 'strings'. Juxtaposed to the mellow there is a much lighter groove running through with a really infectious keyboard fill and some sensitive, attention grabbing, choppy percussion. Add to that the fact that Toochi lay down their bright, slightly funked-up and sexy voices with massive professionalism and 'I Represent' finishes up with a slick and polished edge. Catchy as hell and defo well thought out, 'I Represent' could certainly give some of the more established R&B acts a bloody good run for their money.
'I Pretend' by Toochi is likely to be pretty big for the twins and should open up many new doors and start to establish Toochi as a serious new diva act on the scene.
