The Rash just come stormin' out at yer - this is big, bold and brash - punk pretty much as it was meant to be - attitudinal, energetic and totally rancid but at the same time innovative and wildly entertaining. This is a crackin' introduction to a really nifty five-piece - and by God they sound like the full five - The Rash are loud, full-on and magnificent for it!!
The Rash aren't even trying to do something different - but why should they? If it aint broke - don't even try to fix it!! The Rash live up to their name - these guys are like a plague; they're all over you, making you jittery, on edge, making you itch. The Rash are as infectious as hell but this is an infection that you just have to pass on to your mates, your family, your neighbour, anybody - nobody should miss out!!
Tracks included here are, 'I don't Care', 'Deadend Boys', 'Workshy' and 'Tres Bien' - four superb tracks that make up an absolutely shit-hot demo that says just about everything that needs to be said about The Rash. Ok, so The Rash could be said to be 'just another punk band' - true. But, there's nowt wrong with that if you can pull it off as well as The rash - this is top totty punk, the mutt's nuts punk, the bee's bollocks! The Rash play with well proportioned fury and well appointed venom - The Rash just do it, no messin' no fuss, they just go for it!!
As a demo recording you just can't get much better than this - it says everything about The Rash that needs saying, it doesn't leave you wondering what or why, it's the real deal, the biz!! Excellent stuff from a real powerhouse five-piece!
