The Hustle

Single - These Days

Play 90 second soundbite of 'These Days' @ 'CD quality'

Welsh indie funk rockers The Hustle have come up with a beautifully vibrant song as their new single release; 'These Days' isn't yer typical British indie sound though, it's rather reminiscent of the bright, jangly, contagious sound that The Rembrandts captured so well. Infectious and very commercial sounding, 'These Days' is a great introduction to this five-piece outfit and should see The Hustle making good in-roads within the 'bigger' scheme of things.

The Hustle use nicely proportioned keyboards to bolster and fill their already tangy sound - 'These Days' skips effortlessly along at a crackin' pace and the 'boys' have injected a decent degree of singalongability into the piece. There's a sort of summer feel to the song - it's got that high octane, optimistic feel that brightens your day and provides a bit of light relief just when needed.

The Hustle perform with great solidarity here and play very much as a well honed unit. 'These Days' could be just the sort of sound that many people are looking for if only to get away from the indie norm. 'These Days' by The Hustle has great potential commercially and The Hustle show that they could be one of the new bands to break through and start to make a difference - 'These Days' is an infectious work that will work extremely well across the air-waves and deserves to get some decent air-play from radio jocks. Watch this one - it might just be coming into your home very shortly!
