'Secretsundaze Vol 2' is an expressive piece of work to sit back and admire; with wonderful dynamics and loads of hypnotic beats to contend with Smith and Priestly come up trumps - bigtime! Chilled vibes, loads of melodic interludes, heaps of catchy grooves, it's all there to be enjoyed for what it is - electro escapism and ultra-modern synthetic symphonies for the head, the heart, the soul and of course, the feet! Superb mixing ensures maximum clarity and optimum hookability as Smith and Priestly work their magic with near tangible attention to detail and complete commitment to the dance idiom cause.
Certainly, 'Sectretsundaze Vol 2' is one of the silkiest 'compilations' I've come across - I love the fact that you don't have to be a club-goer to appreciate what Smith and Priestly are offering you. If you just relax and let the music wash gently over you the rewards are many. And, I think that's the point here; this excellent assemblage of 'dance' tunes doesn't necessarily have to he heard within the confines of the club, pub or rave - this works as a stand-alone album, just as it is, in the home, in the car!!

Giles Smith and James Priestly allow you, the listener, to enjoy their mixes in just about any way or any place you choose. Top-notch 'underground' 'dance' music brought above ground to be used and abused any way you like - for me it's a chilled, thought provoking outing.
