Saved By Zero could never be accused of betraying their beloved genre and this excellent release shows clearly that Saved By Zero are having fun within their chosen musical field. There's a distinct -feel good' factor running rampant throughout. Sensually charged, repetitive grooves act as a hypnotic backdrop to some punchy rhythms and suitably slick vocals throughout this work. Sounding effortless yet pretty full-on, 'Come Funking' has non-stop danceability and unabated foot-tappiness. Within the specialist market-place it's unashamedly targeting, 'Come Funking' dot's all the i's and crosses all the t's. Superbly engineered and produced to give clarity and precision, this is up there with the big names of the dance world.
Play it load or take it down to a whisper and the sharp vibes still penetrate the ether with well honed, accomplished efficiency. Whether in clubland or at home, 'Come Funking' will make its presence felt. I can well see this being responsible for upsetting many a taxi driver and causing dating delays by prolonging the 'front-of-mirror' bedroom idiot dancing displays of many would be party or club goers. Parents beware - you could be hearing this blasting through walls and ceilings for quite a while.
