Play 90 second soundbite of 'Suburban Kings' @ 'CD quality'
Rosemary's bright, ebullient and carefree sounding style once more grabs the attention as the trio bound through this great little piece. This well crafted little ripper's overflowing with catchy hooks and singalong lyrics that become almost parasitic; they sit firmly entrenched in your memory and feed on the good sap of your brain cells, then with Malaria like persistence, they come back to attack your system all over again when you're least expecting them. Great 'Brit-pop', commercial and easy to take, this was previously released on their 'White EP' but it's had a bit of a make-over (not that it really needed it) here.
'B' side '...For He's Blue' is more of the same; if 'Suburban Kings' made you slightly merry this one'll take you to the limit and you'll be drunk on the intoxicating vibes lashed out with gay abandon and total professionalism.
As Rosemary drill home their pleasurable musical wares they'll win you over with their very palatable, very contagious approach and you'll be singing along by the second play. My feeling is that this should be a double 'A' side release; both songs are worthy of taking prime position, both do the biz!!
