Although more restricted that at other venues, it didn't stop them putting on their usual high pace act. How the hell they managed to keep going, I'll never know. Although they performed some slower numbers they put so much energy into all of the songs, with the driving double bass and drums pumping them along, that it must have taken it's toll on them.
I'm not sure how many of the band are actually Irish, but no matter - they so obviously enjoyed what they did tonight - heat or no heat. They gave even the traditional songs a 'Rogers' feel - a rockabilly feel cropped up ocassionally, but the overall Irish and shanty feel always remained.
The 'Rogers' are a great, good time band that manage to create a real party atmosphere - the Guinness (and other such beverages) probably helped as well!
