Rich melodies precisely picked out on his acoustic guitar provided the foil for Paul's stunning works. Featuring mostly songs from his two albums, 'From Long Gones To Hawkmoth' and the recent 'Songs For Devon Sproule', Paul's easy style and friendly attitude also made him some new friends tonight. His songs encompassed the trials and tribulations of the work ethic, love, loss and many other of Paul's life passions. Never self-indulgent, always believable his clever lyrics captured many of our own feelings and beliefs. Paul Curreri sings about stuff that we ordinary people can all associate with and feel comfortable with.
Paul finished his set tonight with a great, clever little song written by his younger brother Matt - obviously we have a very talented couple of bro's here!!
So, this somewhat diminutive songster came to and conquered Worcester with his charm, wit and beautifully simplistic but clever musical poems set to great guitar accompaniment.
