My Girls

Single - Shame

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Shame' @ 'CD quality'

Comprising Rachael, J and Jenna, My Girls put the smooth back into R&B; My Girls combine soulful undercurrents and samples with classy R&B, just a hint of funk and more than enough rap to make a difference.

Their new single 'Shame' brilliantly showcases their nu-soul way; this is a polished and extremely radio and deck friendly work that'll go down a storm in the dance clubs and music bars. My Girls give off a bright and positive vibe and their 'stylee' is certainly one that should make pretty big waves in the cluttered R&B world. My Girls tend to sound quite American and the addition of the featured rap artists here, Tha Vill and T Gramz, of course, adds even more Americana to the groove. My Girls are defo polished and give their sexiest 'all' on 'Shame' and its two similarly ilked 'B' sides, 'Move On Over' and ' Showdown'.

'Shame', and its 'bed-fellows, is flawless within its genre; My Girl sound like three very well matched voices that come together as one and get the business done with unashamed sexiness and well crafted vocalisation. I can't see any reason why 'Shame' by My Girls won't go marching into the charts any day now - defo, the clubbers and dance freaks out there should love it!!
