'Dynamite' is a mature piece of 'pop' writing; instantly likeable, very singalongableto and most importantly, as commercial as hell. Beautifully conceived and stunningly performed, 'Dynamite' is exactly that - absolute dynamite, an explosion of modern sound, bloody great! Driven on by some excellent high octane percussion and thumpin' good bass lines, 'Dynamite' is a powerful work that's as bold as it is slick. The sound is made bigger by infectious guitar and beautifully proportioned keys - lots going on maybe but Murmur ensure there's still plenty of room in the mix for the crackin' vocals. Murmur are a class act and 'Dynamite' is stunning.
'Dynamite' by Murmur is a great piece of Britishness pop-rock at its most mature and commercial best. Flawless, well considered and polished, 'Dynamite' is all that's great about electric music from these shores - Murmur have the quality and talent to become one of the big names of the British pop scene - splendid stuff this - quality, quality, quality but above all unputdownable and tantalising!
