Single - Missing Haitch

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Missing Haitch' @ 'CD quality'

'Missing Haitch' by Millimetre (Terence J McGaughey) brings with it an annoyingly irresistible darkly droning backdrop that'll either completely do yer head in or have you excitedly hooked. It's blatantly hooky experimental electro-pop with slightly schizoid leanings and resolutely deviant tendencies - a single to challenge the banal and trite of pop normality.

Described, very succinctly too, as 'blurred feral dreampop' - this aint yer average pop song! Accompanying the dark electric drone is a thumpin' percussive onslaught and Millimetre-scratchy-retro but irrepressibly in yer face vocals. 'Missing Haitch' is very much a work of fX laden, power-pop; catchy in a weird sort of way, dark in a vibrant kinda way, nerve-janglin' and angular in a quite likeable way. An individualistic piece of challenge-pop that certainly has memorable, if somewhat irritating, qualities - hear it and you'll know you've been Millimetred - experience it, let it in but beware, pop music might never sound the same again!

'Missing Haitch' by Millimetre is a most unusual work - risky in the extreme coz it aint nothing like yer everyday pop-circus single out there - glorious in its sense of adventure and defiance of convention - powerful coz it's just, well, powerful!! Millimetre just goes where others fear to tread and 'Missing Haitch' is pretty typical of the genre-blurring idiosyncratic power-pop dreamed up and perpetrated by the experimentalist mind of the strangely strange but oddly normal Terence J McGaughey aka Millimetre.
