There's already a buzz going around and lots of kind words being spoken and written about Exeter based, indie/alt outfit Meeky Rosie. And believe me, it doesn't take very long to realise why. And, even though I hate to 'jump on the bandwagon', this lot are special!!

This EP/Album Sampler, 'Nobody Gets Away' is quite stunning! I'm not sure if there's more to come or whether the seven tracks I've got here is the complete thing. Whatever, Meeky Rosie surely must be the next big thing; if The Feeling can do it with what is perhaps over-sweetened, melodic rock then Meeky Rosie should scorch their way to stardom with their slightly heavier and wholesome brand of alt/indie melodies. Meeky Rosie's approach is slightly harder edged, less sugary but equally addictive. This aint just soft rock either, there's a few Muse-like meanderings beautifully and snugly slotted into the frame making this a fantastic all-rounder. Massive! This is gonna be MASSIVE!

Each track here, if heard on the radio, would make almost anyone ask, "Who the f*** is that?". Meeky Rosie's whole approach is stunning; harmonious, melodic, catchy and above all, commercial. Man, this five piece know what they're doing! Brilliant songs played and sung to perfection - brilliantly produced and totally accessible, this is the dog's bollocks!

It's not hard to visualise Meeky Rosie picking up a few awards for 'Nobody Gets Away' - this is contemporary British music at its absolute best! Totally stunning!!
