"Death defying, mutilated" - Aggressive but melodic (at times!), Malefice are scary man. With frenetic riffs running rampant through their songs and the full-on vocal attack these young guys from Berkshire sure do it dirty. Malefice are tight and energetic to say the least. Their work rate is massive - their power levels are set to self-implode. Their material is well structured and pretty varied for their ilk. Where these guys hold up well against many of their contemporaries is in their 'arrangements'; there's some pretty good stuff nestling in amongst the hardcore - some silky guitar runs that sit perfectly within the framework but stand up on their own like good old fashioned heavy rock. 'Relentless'? I'd say so!!
Good tip: Off on hols? Worried about burglars? Simple - just leave Malefice on 'Repeat', lock up and go. No-one in their right mind is gonna go over your threshold for fear of demonisation or death by aural abuse!!
