Kingskin

Single - Last Ride Home

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Last Ride Home' @ 'CD quality'

Released as a download single, 'Last Ride Home' from Kingskin is a solid, funk laden rocker with attitude.

Kingskin aren't just another indie band - theirs is funk-grunge; ballsy and energetic kick-ass rock. Rammed with catchy, sing-along refrains and choruses, the commercial sounding 'Last Ride Home' will appeal to a wide spectrum of music buyers. Also, for those that own up to not having a singing voice there's plenty of hand-clapping to perfect in front of the bedroom mirror.

My promo copy comes with another two stonkin' stompers; 'Bottom Dollar' and 'Fat Momma Got Soul'. More of the same grindin', catchy hooks with the former so if you cop hold of this work you'll be doin' a fair bit of idiot dancin' I'm afraid. The funky 'Fat Momma Got Soul' simply zips along at what seems like a million miles an hour and ends so abruptly it leaves skid marks.

It's no wonder that Kingskin are generating a storm wherever they're heard - 'Last Ride Home' and it's accompanying tracks certainly get down and dirty - Kingskin set up a groove and ram the message home in no uncertain terms. 'Last Ride Home' should do well.
