Kick Box Riot definitely know how to put together a good 'chune' or two; they've given you six here to get yer teeth into. Six big, brash, bouncy bundles of adrenalin charged excellence. Six solid little pieces of gold that've got 'winner' etched right into their hearts. Each song is unique but each carries the Kick Box Riot stamp of authority and self-belief. Kick Box Riot do the whole indie/rock thing with massive energy and well proportioned power. Their songs are expertly written and superbly crafted - they sit, certainly, on the pop-rock side of the wall but with inherent punk pace and breathtaking character all of their own - really impressive stuff this!!
Kick Box Riot have all the makings of a smash-hit type outfit - they have a musical presence that's hard to ignore, an attitude that seems focussed and mature and an end product that's absolutely perfect for the current market-place. Kick Box Riot will give most outfits a bloody good run for their money and that's for sure. I think we'll be hearing and seeing quite a bit of Kick Box Riot over the next weeks and months - surely Kick Box Riot are gonna be big and get the big prize with this kinda attitude and ability!!
'Seeing Ghosts' by Kick Box Riot is a stunning intro to a brilliant band - crackin' songs, fantastic musicianship, from a band that exude confidence and control - well believable - the real deal!!
