I feel I must quote from Kat Vipers press pack before I go on to my own words; "...described as Jerry Lee Lewis on speed spliced with a dash of Alice In Wonderland on acid...intrepid and tempestuous musical talent...". All I can add to that breathtaking out-pouring is, Kate Bush collides with Frank Zappa! Get the picture yet? Probably not - you simply have to sample the exotic delights of Kat Vipers to really appreciate what she's doin'.

This is a rare and exciting talent; a hard hitting keyboard virtuoso with exceptional vocal chords and a musically mischievous nature that turns modern music on its head and stomps down hard on it! Wonderfully bizarre but terrifically original, Kat Vipers is like a breath of fresh air at just the right time. Commercially challenged maybe but this girl's got 'balls' - big 'balls'! What we have here is a new and young talent that's not gonna conform; Kat Vipers is tremendous!

'Summer Bloody Time' is overflowing with originality, diversity and stunning musicianship. The whole work is superbly engineered and produced to allow Vipers' weird world to blossom and shine out. This is one, set just right, for the open minded and hard-core experimentalists out there. But, Kat Vipers is outlandish and individual enough to turn more than just a few slightly dysfunctional)heads - what an exceptional talent - stunning but, suffice to say, she's not gonna be to everyone's taste.

Kat Vipers has a frightening abundance of creative musical talent; her music is complex but passionate; 'Summer Bloody Time' is like a rude awakening, a reality check, a total mind-fuck! Bloody excellent!!
