Play 90 second soundbite of 'Superman Wears Jack Bauer Pajamas' @ 'CD quality'

Electronic Producer J-Level unleashes his sonic wizardry through 'Daydream State' and crosses over a few genre boundaries in the process. Sure, this is an electronic outing but unlike many that aim purely for the dancefloor freaks, 'Daydream State' attempts to go a step further by attacking the senses from an altogether different direction. Many moons ago this would have been classed as experimental psychedelia. But, those days have gone and now the experimental aspect tends to come from Producers and artists like J-Level who push at the electro constraints and attempt to meld globally rich sounds and rhythms; a sort of electro-world music, if you will.

To his credit, J-Level reaches out of the electro bubble and pulls in new sounds from far away, liquidises the raw material before putting the 'guts' into his micro-chipped melting pot. The result is 'Daydream State' - a fine album the verges on electro-orchestral. More sensual and thought provoking than most electro 'outfits', J-Level puts sense and sensibility into the silicon driven world of music.

Where J-Level makes a difference is in his ability to visualise just what electronic music is capable of. He doesn't go down the tried and tested 'clubbing' route, J-Level reaches out further - carefully picking out influences from the multitudinal music sources available to him. Not content with simply following, J-Level paves the way - a way that more should attempt to follow.
