CD - It's A Misery Business

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Something In Your Mouth' by NIckelback @ 'CD quality'

'It's A Misery Business' is being released by Rhino Records as "a collection of the ultimate contemporary anti love songs released especially for Valentines Day". Nineteen great rock tracks, nineteen great rock artists - all nicely within the bounds of rock normality, nothing too 'out there', nothing too metallically obtuse, just nineteen great songs in one small package - very tasty stuff this - rockin' heaven!

Featuring Nickelback, Paramore, Slipknot, Atreyu, Gallows, Kill Hannah, Elliot Minor, Panic At The Disco, Cobra Starship, Simple Plan, Madina Lake, Kids In Glass Houses, Fighting With Wire, Biffy Clyro, Billy Talent, A, Jacks Mannequin, Cute Is What We Aim For and Amanda Palmer, 'It's A Misery Business, is quite obviously a totally rocked out album for the granite hearted and seriously challenged rock mind. All that's good about heavy rock, 'It's A Misery Business' cuts to the quick and will certainly tell yer girlfriend all she needs to know. Guy, forget red roses, chocolates, lace underwear and the like, get her a copy of this and although you'll get it in the neck at least you'll have something you can enjoy yourself for your pains!!

Gimmicky maybe but so what and, sentiment apart, 'It's A Misery Business' really is a fine compilation of contemporary rock music; head bangin' anthems share space with arena busters, mosh monsters and pure rock-machine heavies to form a solid, brazen and absolutely monstrous album that's rammed with quality and positively burstin' with air-guitar riffs, tennis-racket fills and hair-brush singalongability. The 'It's A Misery Business' concept is pretty cunning but the final compilation is totally awesome! Over sixty-eight minutes of top quality rock music; they simply ran out of space on the disc, couldn't cram any more in but made sure that what was included was the real deal!

Ok, so if you don't wanna upset yer girl but fancy a looksee, turn it on its head and ask her to buy this for you for Valentines Day - it'll probably be the best present you've ever had for Feb 14. But, if you're a risk-taker, buy it for her and suffer the consequences - the worst than could happen is that she'll ignore you for a few hours, the best thing is that she'll probably throw it right back at you so it's a win win situation anyway. Good luck guys - I hope you get what you deserve; 'It's A Misery Business' on Rhino Records is a brilliantly conceived and thoughtfully assembled compilation of top quality contemporary rock music - a must-have album, a real blast!! And remember, love is...music!!
