Play 90 second soundbite of 'Voice Of The Siren' @ 'CD quality'
'Voice Of The Siren' with its twin guitar work and non-aggressive, expressive vocals is a beautifully worked single which reminds me of the work of Wishbone Ash but with a somewhat modern twist. This well arranged piece works very well on all levels; plenty to get rockin' off on but also much to just sit back and listen to. The guitars belt out their searing twin attack with short but blistering solo's, chunky riffs and meaty fills as they vie for attention with the wonderfully proportioned and quite exquisite vocals. The Irritant 'rock-machine' is stunningly guitar driven but superbly held together by tight and blissfully precise bass and drums. Irritant are tight, solid and play with great unity that sounds well honed and thoroughly polished.
'Voice Of The Siren' suits high db's but is equally as cool at lower levels and if guitar based rock is in your remit then 'Voice Of The Siren' by Irritant could be just what the Doctor ordered - these guys are good!!
