and it's easy to see why; Hubb deliver their work with similar guts and sensuality. Hubb however, are very much 2007. Sure, there's the commercial pop sensibility but Hubb have a cool, fresh feel that could just see them getting somewhere with this infectious little track.
The fact that modern technology came to a grinding halt on my copy of this excellent work didn't detract from its appeal; I couldn't, and still can't, access the audio track, so thank God for Video on CD! Actually, it worked out pretty well as I can now relate to the 'bump & grind' of impressive songstress Lynsey Barrow as she cruises through the track with consummate ease and more than a little sexual 'healing' and sensuality. Oh yes, Barrow is a massive part of the appeal with Hubb, not just visually but vocally too; a fact that they must 'sell' - and do!
As catchy as f***, 'I Love Ya, I Don't Even Know Ya' is a fine piece of indie work and Hubb are a talented and very competent, raunchy outfit. They're as tight as a big thing in a small space and, given the right exposure, Hubb should do well for themselves. If 'I Love Ya, I Don't Even Know Ya' is typical then these babes are gonna fly high! Tasty work indeed!
