Play 90 second soundbite of 'Salvation' @ 'CD quality'
Actually, the term 'old-school' doesn't do these guys any real justice - the term sounds staid now and many will think that Fury UK are merely clinging on to a well tried and tested formula in order to get their awesome kick-ass 'chunes' some attention. Fury UK are as current as you want them to be; their choice of hard-rockin' wares is as good as anything out there - it's just that Fury UK don't follow trends by selling out to screamin' metal, they don't lose their reality to brash, in-yer-face instrumental mayhem. What Fury UK do is good, clean, melodic hard rock and they do it extremely well - think of the melodic Bon Jovi comin' head-to-head with the gruelling power of Iron Maiden and you'll be coming close to what Fury UK are offering - honest-to-goodness heavy rock with character, poise and more than a hint of head-bangin' aggression. Fury UK lay down contagious, powerhouse rock fully primed with hard-rockin' riffs, punchy, precise bass-lines, persuasive, punctuative percussion and the sort of 'timeless' vocal delivery required for straight-down-the-middle heavy rock - i's dotted and t's crossed, everything in its place, good solid rock that'll last a lifetime!!
'Salvation' by Fury UK is a great little rock'n'grind work - here it's accompanied by two bonus tracks in the form of the up-tempo, almost rocket fuelled, 'Manslaughter' and the tempo-challenged 'Lost In Forever' which runs the gamut of rock timings and nifty rhythms and is a crackin' song in its own right. So, 'Salvation' is respite from metal mayhem, relief from pure thrash - a piece of genuine, down-to-earth heavy melodic rock from the solid and energetic Fury UK.
