The few songs they did manage to get through were short, bright and full of guts - superb bass work pumped up the pressure totally in keeping with the impressively flaying drums. Big guitar chords chopped around and were neatly interspersed with sweet, individualistic lead work. The vocal duties were shared; both givin' their all (even with their struggle to overcome their 'lurgies'). The songs were short and punchy and lyrically superb; these guys lay down some pretty mature and interesting words! Give them a listen and you'll see what I mean.
Although it was obvious that the guys were reelin' under the influence of their ills they kept it together pretty well to give an overall rockin' performance. Certainly, Figment are an outfit to watch out for - well worthy of another look.
