Play 90 second soundbite of 'Last Night' @ 'CD quality'
Fifty Phantoms is Mustafa, Sam and Leo and 'Last Night' is a silky and pretty chilled song full of originality; not totally targeted at the dance floor but quite obviously a contender, 'Last Night' is modernistic R&B - full of hooks yet as smooth as hell, compelling and very very commercial.
'Last Night' isn't like any other song I can think of - it's got a wonderfully bright kinda vibe and yet there's a subtle darkness under the surface. Fifty Phantoms have contrived to come up with a style and sound completely of their own; instantly recognisable and nicely singalongable. 'Last Night' is just one small piece of the Fifty Phantoms picture though; it's taken from the forthcoming album, 'Revolutionism'. My promo disc is a promo for the album and has four further songs also lifted from 'Revolutionism' - another four chances of looking into the rather beautiful musical world of Fifty Phantoms. And, I have to say, it's all very impressive stuff - 'Revolutionism' sounds like it's gonna be a real blast!
'Last Night' by Fifty Phantoms is a beautifully proportioned, well rounded and catchy work. Radio 'jocks' will love this one and any play over the airwaves is sure to generate loads of interest for this great sounding outfit. 'Last Night' by Fifty Phantoms is as clever as it is different - wonderfully commercial, it's surely gonna promote this outfit and lead to massive album sales.
