CD - Purple Reign In Blood - Live

Play 90 second soundbite of 'A Song For Everyone' @ 'CD quality'

Formally know as Riverfenix, the newly reformed and re-modelled San Diego band Fenix TX release a live album, 'Purple Reign In Blood', onto the unsuspecting public worldwide. Probably a good choice as this nifty little release provides an excellent insight into the work of this four piece alt/rock/punk outfit.

Typically American mid-rock, 'Purple Reign In Blood' has a tight and energetic groove throughout. The guys clearly enjoy working together and the performance solidly demonstrates their unity and musical integrity. Fenix TX mix the set up well and keep the interest high with a generally up-tempo work-out. Fenix FX sit somewhere within the Bowling For Soup/Green Day mould - powerful, catchy and youthful sounding works that leave vapour trails as they pass. These well gigged and experienced individuals seem to have sorted out their earlier musical differences and discovered a new solidarity and genuine passion for their craft. Certainly, 'Purple Reign In Blood' suggests that Fenix TX are back and intend to stick around for a while yet. Quite right too - and if this is your bag, your cup of tea, it'll sit well in your collection and give hours of 'raving' pleasure.

'Purple Reign In Blood' looks to be a good choice to re-introduce Willie Salazar (vocals), Damon Delapaz (drums), Adam Lewis (bass) & Chris Lewis (guitar); collectively Fenix TX, to the rockin' music scene.
