This sampler CD, CV37 has been recorded and released by Hazyjane Recordings of Stratford Upon Avon. The second in the series, it follows 'An Evening Of Light Entertainment'. It's aim is to promote some of the best unsigned bands in the Midlands and help them to get the recognition they so richly deserve.

There's not a bad track here - it's full of interest and talent!

The concept of sampler albums, way back in the early 70's, helped hundreds of the minor, albeit signed, acts get recognition and move on to greater things. The concept here is not any different except these acts are still to be snapped up - let's help in any way we can.

1000 copies have been 'pressed' and are available through several sources (see www.hazyjanerecordings.co.uk or ask one of the acts for details). Believe me it's well worth the asking price of £5. Do yourself a favour and get a copy while it's still available - you won't be disappointed.

This is a great idea and one that we should support wholeheartedly - not just by buying the sampler albums but by helping these bands with our support at gigs and through their merchandise, word of mouth, anything which helps them get that break!
