CD - The Fall Of Time

Play 90 second soundbite of 'The Fall Of Time' @ 'CD quality'

'The Fall Of Time' is a piece of very 'now' rock from Canadian based outfit Crane. Contemporary and very commercial 'The Fall Of Time' is superbly crafted and sits in a sort of middle ground that would suit skaters, rockers, grungers or just plain old muso's. Crane have the vibrancy of Green Day and the balls of Nirvarna but remain very much themselves.

'The Fall Of Time' is an energetic and powerful album that is easy to get into and zips along effortlessly. Crane don't appear to have any weaknesses; they play very much as a unit and through the energy there's a feeling of completeness; Crane sound as if they really enjoy what they do.

Ok, so there's hundreds of other bands pouring out similar material, as I said Crane are very 'now', but not all generate the same degree of wholesomeness - not all feel as solid as Crane. These guys really do get it on together. That, hard to put your finger on, unity and energy make Crane a little special. 'The Fall Of Time' will work for Crane anywhere, on any continent - such is the universal nature of Crane's approach and delivery. Although 'The Fall Of Time' is a generally pacey workout, Crane use stops, gaps and subtle timing changes to bring light and shade to the theme. These deviations make all the difference - they go almost unnoticed as you listen but they are an important feature of Crane's approach. 'The Fall Of Time' is well thought out, well written and well performed - all in all, bloody impressive!!
