Casual Saints

Single - Bones In The Sun

Play 90 second soundbite of 'Bones In The Sun' @ 'CD quality'

Four piece Manchester based Casual Saints' single, 'Bones In The Sun', roars from the speakers with pace and panache. Much more than just another indie outfit Casual Saints have a fresh, energetic sound and style. They've hit on a potion that's works; they've retained a definite 'British' feel whilst still sounding able to satisfy the tastes of a much wider market place.

Apart from the very impressive title track there's 'Garden Lane' and 'We'll Be Alright'; with the former they're surely going down the right road and the latter sums things up nicely because these guys are sure to do succeed if these three works are anything to go by! Casual Saints have put together a superb single here - tight, pacey, arse-kickin' rhythms driving along gutsy vocals - contemporary rock'n'roll, 'power-pop' - call it what you will - this is danceable, slick and polished.

Casual Saints will probably be likened to Franz Ferdinand and I suppose that's a fair and perfectly reasonable comparison to make. I can't help but feel that Casual Saints are going to have a pretty rewarding future in their own right if they can maintain this standard of coolness and originality.
