You might think from reading this that it's all been done before. But, you'd be wrong! CBL aren't like Tangerine Dream or Mike Oldfield or any other of the artists that have trodden similar roads. CBL make what is essentially instrumental electronic music sound absolutely brand spankin' new.
Probably not something to be listening to when out driving or operating machinery, '[World Of Sleepers]' should only be consumed at home, in the safe zone, where you can simply let go of all the problems and stress of everyday life and just let yourself drift into its magic and intrigue.
CBL are Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Ringstrom and with '[World Of Sleepers]', Carbon Based Lifeforms have totally gripped me with their creative take on electronic entertainment. Ok, so you're unlikely to hear much of their work through the mass media of radio and television - this aint that sort of music! You may have to hunt hard to get a copy of this exceptional work but, believe me, it'll be worth the trouble.
