Hold on everybody, there's a monster in our midst!! And, wow, what a great sound, what energy, what a band!! Buick McKane comprise, The Rabbit (Vox, Guitar and Bass Sounds) and The Box (Drums); yes, just two of 'em - it's unbelievable what they can do between them though!!

'Sitting In The Rain In My Car' takes the lead and sets the tone; and what a great opener it is - intriguing, compelling, singalongable and ever so commercial!! It positively romps along apace driven by The Box's pounding drums and some really well defined and crisp guitar. The voice is just slightly breathy but that's just cuz of the unrelenting pace of this crackin' song! Buick McKane sure make a great sound and this is an awesome 'A' side!!

The 'B' side, 'Quentin Device', is a powerhouse rocker rammed with great riffs and fills; it's got a slightly angry and aggressive feel to it but once again the singalongability is right there for the joining in - not as obviously commercial as its bigger brother 'A' side but definitely one to get moshed to - a rocker not a popster this one!

Buick McKane make a very impressive and pretty chunky sound for a duo; this debut single is quite sensational and if enough 'jocks' catch on and air it it should prove to be a real money-spinner. Buick McKane do it their way and make a bloody good fist of it - Buick McKane have the potential to become a big name if they can maintain this impressive standard - they have a sound of their own, they're clearly very competent musicians and they've come up with a simple but very powerful formula for success. Watch out for Buick McKane - these guys sound really hot!!
