Boys Of Scandinavia are a Finish electro funk outfit specialising in bass driven dance music that blends the influences of New Order with strong disco beats. 'Why Do You Love Me?' is presented here in three forms; Radio Mix, Major Tweaks Remix and Album Version. The Boys, not content with electro/disco, also throw in some soaring psychedelic synth work that results in a heady concoction that not only works well but adds depth and darkens the underlying theme.

This must rate as a hot tip for the monster dance venues globally. To some 'Why Do You Love Me?' may seem a bit 'old hat' and ok, if you're not into the rave parties and freaky world of electro/dance I can understand that sentiment especially as it's moved more 'underground' than it used to be. But, there's still a pretty buoyant platform for this infectious, body bending style of dance fusion. And, Boys Of Scandinavia should do well with this work providing they do their promotions effectively by targeting the right venues and airwaves.

Of the three versions I particularly favour the 'Album Version'. Why? Well I can't actually explain because I've just had my head completely battered by all three for the last three quarters of an hour or so and I'm feeling a bit 'shell shocked' now. Actually, all three versions work equally well - but that's the whole idea I guess - 'horses for courses' and all that!.

Boys Of Scandinavia show with 'Why Do You Love Me?' that electro-funk or electro/dance is alive and bangin'. This is a hard hitting little raver that'll help shed a few pounds of bodyweight.
