Play 90 second soundbite of 'How Far I Can Go' @ 'CD quality'
Atlantis Black are just two totally committed guys (Al - vocals, guitar & bass and Tim - drums & guitar) playing their hearts out with a feel akin to Aerosmith with a touch of Nickleback here and there. 'How Far I Can Go' is performed passionately and with some 'balls'. Their chosen road will no doubt be a difficult one with so many big name 'heavy' bands, past and present, to be compared to and compete with. However, Atlantis Black are young and quite obviously talented so they've got every chance if this release is anything to go by. I worry slightly about how these guys take to the road - I assume they can call on similar minded rockers to help them out. Studio-wise, Atlantis Black can clearly go it alone - but!!
So, ' How Far I Can Go' rocks, rolls and works. I always find it difficult to judge a band on a couple of tracks, let alone just one - I'd like to hear more of this young band to see just what they've really got to offer and 'how far they really can go'.
